It’s not about how much you physically workout, you’ve also got to pair that with the proper mentality to truly set yourself up for long term success, Seth Wickstrom writes on Instagram. And in his video message the online fitness coach explains:
“Fitness is 80% mental. Once you get to the gym it’s not tough to hit that one hour workout. But it is hard to get your ass up off the couch and actually walk through those gym doors. On the other side of the spectrum it’s not hard to eat clean. But it is tough to break free from your old bad habits and the mentality that you’ve built up over the years. The problem is you don’t focus on the mental side of things. And that’s why you’ve never been able to built up the consistency that you truly need in order to achieve your goals…”
Seth concludes: “Focus on this aspect and it’s going to truly allow you to step into your potential.”
